At the intersection of choreographic performance and visual expression, "Body of Memory" offers a unique sensory experience. Conceived by Jade Tekhil, a textile designer and multidisciplinary artist whose work blends textiles and ceramics, this work explores bodily memory through materials. She also gathers secondhand materials, fragments of lives already lived, which she recomposes using techniques such as macramé, pleating, and ceramics.

The choreography is by Laura Kenyon, artistic director of WomanEwer, and her physical and intuitive writing gives substance to a dance in perfect symbiosis with textures and volumes.

Presented for the first time on June 9, 2025, at the Palais Longchamp, the performance brings together a collective of contemporary dancers whose gestures are extended, countered, or amplified by wearable textile and ceramic creations specially designed for the work. Each costume becomes an actor in its own right, translating the emotion, tension and poetry of movement.
